as a personal data controller, informs about the method and scope of personal data processing in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”).

In connection with processing requests, we process personal data of customers, those interested in translations, and website visitors.

I. Consent to the processing of personal data

Consent is a voluntary permission that you give us for a certain way of processing your personal data, for example for sending a newsletter. It is valid only for the purpose that you have been informed about. You can withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent applies only to this specific purpose and does not affect processing that takes place on the basis of other legal grounds.

II. Processing of personal data

A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you inquire about our service, we will process your contact details that you provide to us, mainly via the inquiry form.

This includes: full name, email and phone number.

For what reason?

The purpose of processing is to answer the question, provide information about the service and communicate with the interested party.

On what legal grounds?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – negotiating a contract or taking measures prior to concluding a contract at your request.

How long will we process personal data?

If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 2 years from our last communication.

B. Newsletters (commercial communications)

If you are a visitor to the website and agree to the processing of personal data, we will use your email address to send you our newsletter.

On what legal grounds?

The legal basis is Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., which allows us to send commercial communications to persons who have expressed interest in our product, unless they have explicitly refused to receive them.

How long will we process personal data?

We send the newsletter until you withdraw your consent, but no longer than 3 years from the last interaction.

III. Who will have access to the data?

Your data will stay with us. However, we do have some companies or other people working for us who have access to your data because they help us run our website. These are:

We process personal data only within the European Union.

Google Ireland Limited
(serves as both a processor and a separate controller of Google Analytics data).

When using Google Analytics, data may be transferred outside the EU. In this case, the data is protected by transfer mechanisms under the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses.

IV. What else you should know

We do not have a designated data protection officer in our company.
Our company does not make decisions based on automated processing or profiling.

VI. Your rights in connection with the processing of personal data

The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we are processing about you, to request access to this data and have it updated or corrected, or to request restriction of processing, you can request a copy of the personal data being processed, to request that we erase your personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with Office for Personal Data Protection, or, if necessary, go to court with your claims.
